CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN suing YSL: RED BOTTOM RIP OFF

Shoemaker Christian Louboutin is suing Yves Saint Laurent, charging the fashion house ripped off his famous red-sole trademark.

CL started with the trademark red bottom in1992, when the designer first painted red nail polish on the bottom of one pair, says a lawsuit filed Thursday in Manhattan Federal Court.
Louboutin acclaims that this year, Yves Saint Laurent started selling its own version of the red soled shoe.

"Defendants use of red footwear outsoles that are virtually identical to plaintiff's Red Sole Mark is likely to cause and is causing confusion, mistake and deception among the relevant purchasing public as to the origin of the infringing footwear," the lawsuit says.

"The location of the bright color on the outsole of a woman's pump is said to provide an alluring 'flash of red' when a woman walks down the street, or on the red carpet of a special event," says the 27 page lawsuit.

It says that in January, Louboutin learned YSL was selling red-soles at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
Louboutin has repeatedly asked Yves Saint Laurent to stop selling the shoes. Since there was no action CL designer decided to pursue legal action.

2011 Celebs ROCKIN' CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTINS

"GOTTA LOVE THE RED BOTTOMS"

THREADING, TWEEZING, or, WAXING...eyebrows

There are several ways to achieve eyebrow perfection, these methods include tweezing, waxing; and the most popular, threading. There are pros and cons to each one of these methods, and there also are similarities and differences between them.

Tweezing- Tweezing has the shortest duration of time and can be done in the comforts of ones home. Most women who tweeze their eyebrows have to do it on a daily basis in order to maintain a clean look, free of stray hairs. The "risks" associated with tweezing - at worst, you might pinch some skin and wind up with a little soreness or a cut.Tweezing is generally done by the individual so, your only costs for this eyebrow shaping technique is the cost of tweezers, which is generally less than five or ten dollars.

Waxing-Waxing usually lasts between 3 to 6 weeks depending on a persons hair re-growth.With waxing, if it is done regularly, your hair will actually start to grow back finer and lighter. You may have some swelling, tenderness, and redness for about twenty-four hours following your waxing.Waxing can be done at home, but you should only do so if you are extremely confident and you know exactly what you are doing. Most women who wax their eyebrows prefer to have it done by a pro, and the cost is generally between ten and twenty dollars.

Threading-Eyebrow threading has been around for centuries, and it is a hair removal practice that originated in India. The results of threading generally last between two and three weeks, and like waxing, the hair will generally grow back finer and lighter. There are no risks associated with threading - it is a very gentle hair removal method, and it is actually the best way to remove ingrown hairs.Eyebrow threading is not typically done at home without a professional but if you have training in this area it can be done. The cost is generally between fifteen and thirty dollars.
