Baltimore Fashion Week 2011

I'm so excited to be attending and covering this years Baltimore Fashion Week. After meeting and sitting down  with event's executive director, Sharan Nixon to discuss whats in store for this years fashion show has me anticipating its success. Back in January, Nixon announced that she was moving the event back to Baltimore after holding it at the Sheraton Baltimore North in Towson. This years show will be held in Harbor East. This is the type of location that Nixon had in mind from the first launch of the event. The event is said to feature a 16,000-square-foot tent similar to the ones used at the famed Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

 Also, the man with the "Golden Voice" Ted Williams will be hosting the event. Williams signed a contract Tuesday morning that has him announcing designers live each day of the four-day event. Williams will  also do radio spots and attend promotional events associated with Baltimore Fashion Week, which runs Aug. 18-21.

Be prepared to be blown away with this years Baltimore Fashion Week. I'm ready, I hope you are.
