As we looked back upon last nights (Jan 5,2011) People's Choice Award red carpet event we noticed the lack of creativity. It seemed as if a good amount of them chose something short, sequined, or strapless. That was flabbergasting to us because of the many elegant long gowns that have been appearing on the latest runways.
We counted at least two J.Mendel dresses, the strapless count was at least five, and - oh boy- the way-above-the-knee look stole the show. On a good note, there were lots of color (hence the Katy Perry dress) where there use to be lots of black and muted colors. But again there weren't any exceptional looks that caught the eye.
We can only hope that this was just a set back to what we hope FASHION will be like in 2011.
Khloe should have tanned. Too damn white lol. I wasn't impressed with the fashion at all. Honestly these were simple looks.
ReplyDeleteI think people decided to play it "safe and simple." You can't go wrong, when you hit "that look" right before. On another note...Queen Latifah did a fab job and looked great!
