Women have STALKERS, Men have GROUPIES!

While talking to a friend we somehow came upon the discussion about men having groupies and woman having stalkers. Weird convo but its very relevant! My argument was that woman have to worry about their stalkers more than men with their groupies.

The term “groupie” originated to describe women (or girls if you like) who follow around music groups. The term is now used to describe the female followers of all sorts of famous men. Men usually like it when women give them this kind of attention. They don’t fear their groupies, and will often partake of sex with their groupies.

Women, on the other hand, are usually not interested in having sex with men whose status is much lower than their own, and in almost all cases there is a huge status difference between the famous person and the groupie. It is not a normal male trait for them to become sexually infatuated with famous women, unless the woman in question is also very attractive.

But women are attracted to men because of their fame and high status, which explains why unattractive men such as RICK ROSS still have their share of groupies. Unlike a large number of groupies, female celebrities will have a much smaller number of stalkers. These are the men who don’t understand the fact that stalking isn’t socially acceptable. (But some will argue that female groupie behavior also isn’t entirely socially acceptable, but it’s more acceptable and normal than male stalker behavior.)
