MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!

In July of 2008, Vogue Italia released an all-black issue in their magazine and now they have shot a high-fashion spread titled “The Black Allure” featuring the elite of black models including Chanel Iman, Joan Smalls, Melodie Monrose, Arlenis Sosa, Aminata Niaria, Ajak Deng, Lais Ribeiro, Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Rose Cordero and Georgie Badiel. Behind the scenes were British photographer Emma Summerton who shot the shoot and Edward Enninful who styled it.

Vogue Italia cast a large group of black models in its "Black Allure" spread, which hits newsstands in the glossy's February issue. These fine specimens all strike a pose in the latest Versace, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin and Dior.

There is no denying that Franca Sozzani’s is woman that knows how to run a magazine. Her groundbreaking, controversial all-black issue made major disturbance, and now she’s following it up this spread.
Seeing Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn getting their glamour on is definitely a sight to see and we can only hope Sozzani would choose to do another feature.
